Cell Phone Donations Why throw away your old cell phone when it could be put to good use instead? Not only will you be helping others, you'll be keeping those cell phones out of the nation's landfills. This program allows us to raise funds for local charities and help others as well. Donated phones are sent to our partner, The Shelter Alliance. They refurbish and reuse newer phones for those who cannot otherwise afford cell phones, and they recycle broken, and unusable phones here in the United States in the most environmentally sound method available today (shredding and smelting). Every cell phone collected, with or without batteries, regardless of condition, helps us raise money for the charities we support. While we do recieve more money for newer phones, even old broken phones help us raise much needed funds. Cell phones may be dropped off at: Randolph Library Rockaway Township Library (more locations coming soon.) OR, Contact Us to arrange for your donation. Please help us by donating any old cell phones you may have. Also, we are currently trying to find local businesses or offices where we can set up collection locations. If you have any ideas, or can work with us to help raise money for charity through this program, please contact us. We'd love to hear from you. Please click on the "Contact Us" link to find ways to reach us. Corporations or other large collection efforts can donate cell phones directly to The Shelter Alliance and instruct them to credit Lafayette Council 514 Knights of Columbus in Dover, NJ for the donations. We thank you for your help with this program! |

| Our cell phone fundraiser program is sponsored by Shelter Alliance (www.shelteralliance.net), a program of cell phone recycling company GRC Wireless Recycling (www.grcrecycling.com). Through Shelter Alliance, nonprofit organizations raise funds through the collection & recycling of used cell phones, and businesses & consumers donate & recycle cell phones to benefit nonprofit participants. | ||
