Fourth Degree

The first three Degrees of our Order are Charity, Unity, and Fraternity. The Fourth Degree is Patriotism. Members of the Knights of Columbus are not required to become Fourth Degree Members but are always welcomed, and encouraged, to do so.

Fourth Degree members join an "Assembly". Lafayette Concil 514 is affiliated with The Walter J. Barrett Assembly 0659, in Boonton, NJ.

Members of the Fourth Degree can also choose to join the Honor Guard (Color Corps). We are always looking for new members. This is often the most visible branch of our order. Perhaps you've seen us in our Cape and Chapeaux marching in parades or escorting the Bishop at Mass.
