Welcome to our home page! The Knights of Columbus is a Fraternal Order of Roman Catholic men founded in 1882 by The Servant of God, Father Michael J. McGivney in New Haven, Connecticut. We now have over 1.5 million members worldwide. All Catholic men age 18 and up are eligible, and welcome, to join. Click on either the "History of the K of C" link or the "Knights of Columbus Supreme" link at the left to learn more about our order. Click on the "Father McGivney Guild" link to learn about our founder and the cause for his sainthood. Click on the "Contact Us" link to ask questions, request an application to join, or would like to help support any of our causes. Lafayette Council 514 was chartered in 1901 at the old St. Mary's Church in Wharton, NJ. We are dedicated to our principles of Charity, Unity, and Fraternity. We support our parishes, schools, priests, religious, and various charitable and worthy organizations and groups throughout our communities. We also support national and worldwide relief efforts when critical needs arise. If you wish to learn more about our Catholic faith, please click on the "CIS - Learn More About Our Faith" link. This will bring you to the Catholic Information Service page of the Knights of Columbus Supreme web site. If you wish to look up the mass times for any parish, worldwide, we have included a link that is very useful, especially when traveling. The "Mass Times For All Parishes, Worldwide" takes you to www.MassTimes.org. Please scroll down to see all of the links and explore our site to learn more about our order and our council.
